How Mira handles calls and texts

Last updated: September 23, 2026

How Mira actually behaves once she's answering for your business — booking, availability, hours, and what happens when she needs help. Don't see your question? Contact support.

Can Mira book, reschedule, and cancel appointments on her own?

Yes — Mira books directly. She checks your real-time availability, respects each provider's schedule, service times, and your gap rules, and confirms the booking in the same call or text. Same for rescheduling and cancelling, all directly in Mangomint following your cancellation policy. Booking links are only used when you want one, for example to get a card on file.

Does Mira know my services, pricing, and staff availability?

Yes, automatically. Mira reads your live Mangomint data: menu, prices, service times, add-ons, each provider's schedule, and what's open right now. If a client asks for a provider who's booked, Mira offers the closest alternative rather than turning them away.

Can Mira handle multiple locations?

Yes. Mira knows which services, providers, and prices belong to each location, and if a client calls the wrong one, Mira can book them at the right one.

Does Mira work after hours?

Yes. To have Mira answer calls and texts after hours, enable Mira 24/7 in your settings. Once enabled, Mira can continue helping clients even when your business is closed.

Does Mira support multiple languages?

Not yet. Mira currently supports English only. We're continuing to improve Mira and may add support for additional languages in the future.

What happens when a client needs a real person, or Mira can't answer something?

Mira doesn't guess. She tells the client your team will get back to them, or transfers the call, and drops a summary in your Mangomint inbox with a note on what's needed so your team can pick up without asking the client to repeat themselves. You can set rules for what always goes to a person, like complaints, medical questions, or group bookings.
